On this first season finale of Kids For Sale, Chris tries his best to recap the first season, but in typical fashion he forgets to do his prep work and stumbles through it. Strap in for an honest rant about child support though. Also a sincere thank you for everyone that has hung in there for the whole first season!
This week on Kids For Sale listen to Chris stumble through his recap of Christmas in his migraine induced, sleep deprived state. And Ashley drops in to talk about Scarlett's scissor incident.
Tis the season for an entirely Christmas themed episode of Kids For Sale. Today Chris talks to himself about Christmas and Santa and gets mad at other parents about Elf on the Shelf.
Today on Kids For Sale. DIVORCE. It's been mentioned in a few previous episodes, but in today's world it's a reality for a lot of parents. And as this is a parenting podcast, it's important that it gets discussed. It's not a fun subject and it's not a lighthearted subject. And an hour isn't enough time to cover all of the nitty gritty. So this episode is the first part of what will probably be an ongoing series that covers the sensitive subject of being a divorced parent. (These episodes will be broken up so there will be plenty of fun lighthearted content in between.)
On this episode of Kids For Sale I talk to my sister (Betsy) and her husband (Adam) and baby. We discuss the struggles of getting pregnant and what life is like for their family of four. Then the kids came in to join the party and as usual, it went off the rails.
This week on Kids For Sale! Well the guest fell through so I'm on my own once more. And for some reason I was feeling extra judgy so listen in to hear me complain about all of you other parents and how you're ruining Halloween. Stay tuned through the lecture to hear things get super real though when I accidentally get a little too personal... As always, feedback is encouraged. And on a serious note, thank you to anybody that has stuck with me up to this point!
Well things rarely go as planned and this episode is no exception. We start by talking to Scarlett for a bit, but that goes off the rails really quick. So we quickly decide on a new topic and move on. Hear us ramble about Halloween.
*Disclaimer: I had to edit out several chunks of our talk with Scarlett so don't be thrown off by the random skips.
Well after trying for weeks, this week on Kids For Sale Chris was finally able to get his mom to sit down and talk. Listen in to find out why Chris is so messed up while his mom tells a bunch of personal stories about his childhood.
On this episode of Kids For Sale we have some news. Good or bad, we'll let you decide. Listen in to find out what it is and hear us ramble about our last few weeks.
On this weeks episode of Kids For Sale! Ashley was at work so Chris was left on his own. Listen in to find out if Chris can manage to mumble his way through an episode talking about sports, stubborn kids, birthday parties and fundraisers...
On this weeks episode of Kids For Sale! We rambled way too long about the fair and football and soccer pictures, and by the time we were ready to move onto the planned topic we were interrupted and it went off the rails. Listen in to see if we can recover it. (P.S. We can't...)
On this episode we talk about our kids learning swear words, how we deal with the situation, and censorship in general. Honestly we talk circles around the subject to the point that we don't even know if we agree with ourselves anymore. Hopefully you're able to take something constructive out of the conversation, but at the very least you can listen to us be jerks to each other for a while. Also, in the spirit of the conversation this episode has been censored. We hope that Chris's mom is able to enjoy it a little better.
Pressed for time and scrambling to find a way to get rid of the kids for an hour to record an episode, we decided instead to do an episode WITH the kids that we're always complaining about. On this episode of Kids For Sale we let you in on what one of our family dinners is like. It's incredibly unorganized and chaotic at moments, but such is life with kids.
This Week on Kids For Sale! It's Friday the 13th, Ashley and Chris are back! On this episode we talk about our family vacation. What went right? What went wrong? How did the kids handle it? How did we survive? Give it a listen and find out.
This week on Kids For Sale! Ashley and Chris are back and TRY to talk about some Summer tips with your kids, but a bunch of SHIT happens and we struggle to put together a full thought. It's much more enjoyable than it sounds though... we hope...
This Week on Kids For Sale! As if being a parent wasn't already hard enough, on this episode we discuss the added difficulties of being a STEPparent. We also get stuck making the same point over and over again (it must have been important...).
On our very first episode of Kids For Sale, we cover the topic that is currently consuming our lives... Little. League. Baseball.
Dun Dun DUUUUUNNN!!!
We talk about the kids, the parents, the game itself, and why all of it is pretty much the worst. Give it a listen and see if you agree.
